Vintage male Ken ? barbie Mattel dressed doll 1968 see description

From a local estate sale. On his back is has Mattel 1968 on the back of his head has Mattel and what looks like 1990. so looking at his neck it appears that the head has been switched. Again not exactly sure about the date on his head it is not as clear but am sure its not original to the body. He is approx 12"
His pants are torn and his had is jagged as shown in picture.
