Vintage Edgewater 1881 Handmade Sour Mash Whiskey Bottle

Up for sale is this Ornate, Vintage Whiskey Bottle. Original everything, even the existing cork was placed, I expect, after the person taking the last drink placed it back in the bottle.
Edgewater Distillery was started in 1836 by Benjamin Brandon who then sold the distilleryby a gentleman  named Megibben. There is a lot of history behind the maker of this whiskey. If only this bottle could talk. This bottle is embellished with the number 561 on the bottom
The bottle was found in the foundation of one of our homes that we remodeled. It is a miracle that it withheld itself as it stands today. I have had this bottle for over 30  years and it is now time to move it on to a true Whiskey bottle enthusiast for their collection.
