Vintage 1963 Ken Teal Ponytail Case w/ Doll, Clothing and Accessories Mattel

This auction is for a great vintage Mattel Ponytail Ken case with original 1962 Ken blond doll and lots of clothes and accessories.  The case is a great vibrant teal / turquoise color in great condition.  The handle and latch are intact and like new. The graphics are clean and bright, with a few light scratches.  The only issue I see is the bottom corners have a little splitting, as does the inside bottom of the lid, which is common from use. Inside it is missing one accessory box.  The cardboard accessory box does have some edge wear from use. The Items included in the case are as follows: Original 1962 Ken doll, in good shape, except for a little ding to the bridge of his nose and a scratch in his left eyebrow. He is straight legged, but his arms and legs do move at the shoulder and hip. Clothing included is a mix of pieces with an actual Ken clothing label and some without. Clothing includes: Beige pants, knit striped shirt, blue bathrobe, brown sport jacket, blue sport jacket, 2 white doctors scrub tops, orange hoodie, blue long sleeve shirt, 2 short green surgeon tops, 1 green long surgeon gown, red shorts, striped beach shirt (similar to Allen’s), green print short sleeve shirt, yellow shorts, pastel plaid vest, and striped knit shorts. Tuxedo set: Black tuxedo pants, black tuxedo jacket, white tux shirt, burgundy cummerbund, 1 black sock, two black shoes. Accessories included: Red tam hat, striped knit bathing trunks with green snorkel and green flippers. 2 pairs of red socks, 1 pair soft brown shoes, 1 pair hard brown shoes, 1 pair brown loafers with white toe section top, 1 pair soft black shoes, 1 pair of sandals with red strap (1 sandal is missing half of the cork bottom. Extra pieces include: 1 soft plastic brown shoe, 1 hard plastic brown shoe, 1 hard plastic black shoe, 1 striped knit sock that matches the shirt he is wearing. In this lot, you will get 1 vintage Mattel Ponytail Ken case, 1 vintage 1962 Ken doll, 28 items of clothing, 13 shoes, 2 flippers and a snorkel as well as 9 plastic hangers. Some of the clothes are dirty from storage and use and a few have some small stains.  I will leave the cleaning to the new owners and am selling this as found.  Please see my other auctions for more vintage Ken items.  We will combine auctions to save on shipping.

SHIPPING & HANDLING
We charge only actual shipping costs. We will combine auctions to save on shipping. If you read our feedback, you will see that we use lots of packaging materials to create our “bullet proof packaging”.  In over 23 years of selling on eBay we have never had an item get damaged in shipping, and we have mailed lots of delicate items.  We ship all items via USPS Priority Mail, unless the item qualifies for media mail or the winner requests another shipping option. You can find shipping costs and shipping options in the box in the shipping area of the auction page. If you want the item shipped via another method other than stated, you MUST email us with a shipping address & preferences so actual shipping charges can be determined. Any large or very heavy item will go by UPS ground service. Packages are shipped the next business day after receipt of payment.
PAYMENT
Payment MUST be received within 5 days of auction end. We do send an auto-reminder for payment at 2 days and again at 4 days. Please use the payment link on the auction page or winning bidder email you will receive. Please keep in mind that all sales are final unless we misrepresented the item in our description. That being said we do pride ourselves on our great customer service, so if you have a problem when your item arrives, please email us before you leave feedback. We will attempt to find a resolution that works for everyone.
INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS
Foreign winners are responsible for all customs fees, taxes and duties at delivery as applicable. All custom forms are filled out with the value as the winning bid amount and marked as merchandise (not gift); please do not ask us to alter customs forms as it is illegal and we won’t do it. We also cannot control the delivery time on international shipments and US postal tracking will usually only track until it leaves the US shipping system. If you want something that can be tracked the entire process, please choose a carrier such as UPS or Fed-Ex international. We will ship the item via your preferred shipping method, so please be aware of delivery times and make your choice accordingly.
