Vintage 1940’s Homemade Wood Body Tether Midget Race Car 12” Long - Folk Art
Up for for sale, is a super cool handmade wood tether car. Please view all pics for condition. Shows wear from being played with and from storage. I believe this tether car dates to the 1940’s. The body is made out of wood. The inside where the steering wheel would have been is carved out or damaged. Wheels are made of rubber, with aluminum rims. The front grill is metal. I do not see where an engine would have been, I don’t think they tether car had one. Numbered #54 on the back and named “Leader Car” on the front hood. A very cool folk art/handmade tether midget race car. Overall displays great!
