It is new & unused. The middle binder section holding the pages is secure at the top but will pop loose at the bottom. I was able to pop it in place, but super glue should hold it down if it bothers you. There was a small amount of sharpie marks on the back that I cleaned with rubbing alcohol, it’s very faint but shown in the upper left corner on the back of the album (few inches above and left of the P). Super cute item.
