    Description

    Taking you back in time when travelers dined in style while crossing our great land on America's mighty railroads. Rare, set of 10 beautiful, highly collectible, vintage china dinnerware plates manufactured by Buffalo China exclusively for the New York Central Railroad. Each dinner plate measures approximately 10 3/8" in diameter and weighs 1.6 pounds.  8 of the 10 plates have no chips; see photo to see small chips on 2 plates. The chips on the two plates do not show when viewing the top of the plate.  Very gently used, with light utensil marks. A great set for the avid NY Railroad collector!!  I have seen individual plates offered for sale, but never a set of 10.  Please reference page 198 of the Luckin's Dining on the Rails catalogue.
