S&S Heavy Duty connecting rod sets for Harley-Davidson Sportster models are recommended for stock rebuilds and most performance street applications. They have stock wristpin width for use with stock bore pistons.

Heavy Duty rods are forged from 4140 chromoly steel
Supreme rods are forged from 4340 EQ, aircraft quality chromoly steel
Heat treated to provide superior strength, hardness, and fatigue resistance
S&S crankpins have two oil distribution holes located between the roller bearing paths for better oil distribution and continuous, unbroken support to the bearing
Grooved thrust faces on crankpin end of rear rod help maintain lubrication between the rod and flywheel thrust face
Rod-to-rod clearance accommodates strokes up to and including 5" stroke
Rod length: 7.440"
Wristpin diameter: .791"
