RIP VAN WINKLE WHISKY DECANTER ORIGINAL DESIGN FROM THE OLD FITZGERALD COLLECTOR'S GALLERY GENUINE TALISMAN PORCELAIN 1971 FOR STITZEL WELLER DISTILLERY. DECANTER IS IN GOOD USED CONDITION. IT IS MISSING FRONT LABEL BUT DOES HAVE THE BACK LABEL. NO CHIPS, CRACKS, ETC. SORRY BUT THIS ONE IS EMPTY.(
These kinds of decanters of Old Rip Van Winkle were wheated bourbon from the Stitzel-Weller distillery. They were 86 proof and seven years old, with the likely year of bottling noted on the bottom of the decanter.  They were four-fifth quart bottles (i.e. a "fifth" in the pre-metric parlance because it was equal to one-fifth of a gallon)
