Original Vintage German Poster BERLIN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 1955

Description

Offered is an original BERLIN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL linen backed 16 1/2" x23" German film festival poster 1955 with many flags.  Berlin International Film Festival (known in German as Internationale Filmfestspiele Berlin) is a film festival founded in 1951.  The poster is in very good condition and displays well.  The poster has very minor fold and border wear. It had a faint diagonal scuff in the bottom center of the image. The poster has been nicely linen backed.  A linen backed poster is a poster that is archivally mounted to acid free paper and canvas where it can be restored if needed.  Fold lines and other defects become less noticeable, sometimes even invisible.  It can be rolled for shipping and is ready for framing.  Linen backing can dramatically improve the overall appearance of a poster and can substantially increase its value.
