    Description

This kit is 100% complete is all respects and is the only one like that on eBay right now. You have the correct tire tool with sleeve (it stops and snaps in place correctly),  the tire mounting U-shaped tool, wooden screw driver with metal collar and both phillips and slot inserts, RARE  correct 6 mm  black oxide INBUS  Allen wrench, set of matching Dowidat  DIN 895 wrenches in the correct sizes 19/17, 17/14, 14/11, 10/9 with the 12 mm single end wrench, the Dowidat 14 mm fluid drain wrench, correct Hazet spark plug wrench with turning handle, pliers and a nice Messko-Hauser (marked Mercedes) 0-40 psi  tire gauge in original box with repro 190sl paper insert and a box of fuses.  Everything is black oxide, not chrome. Everything is original and correct except for the tire gauge box  repro paper insert. [Note: If you have a 220S or SE then you need a different lug wrench and paper tire gauge insert and I can swap that out and lower the price 0. Add 0 if the buyer wants a 0-4.0 bar gauge instead of 0-3.0. If you prefer 0-3.0 bar instead of 0-40 psi I can swap those out even upon request]
The wrap is also correct. Note that the pocket on the far right is straight across at the top, not sewn at an angle.  The ones with an angle cut on the far right are not for the 190sl or 220 cars. This one  is clean and in good usable condition with sturdy straps and real nice canvas.
What you normally see on eBay is a huge pile of mismatched,  incorrect tools laying on a  canvas wrap from another model car. Usually the big-ticket tools, such as the U shaped tire mounting tool, the Hazet 17 mm lug wrench with sliding sleeve, the unmarked wooden screw driver with metal collar,  and the illusive Inbus 6 mm Allen wrench are missing. Then you realize that you have to spend hundreds of dollars and many hours trying to find the correct missing tools to complete the kit. And good luck trying to find the correct wrap with all pockets straight across the top with no angle cut.
This set contains the correct tools that came in these sets when you bought the cars new from Mercedes in the 1950s and 1960s--no tools added and none left off.   There is no mystery about what tools come in these sets. Put this in your browser and look at the 12/12/57 list prepared by Mercedes for its dealerships if you want to know exactly what comes in the tool kit for each car:  mercedes ponton tool kit
If you have a 190sl and have no tool kit or you have a wrong tool kit, you might add considerable value to your car by getting a correct tool kit. My feedback reflects dozens of positive remarks over 20 years of selling correct Mercedes tool kits. No hassle return policy if you are not happy with the purchase upon inspection.
