    Up for sale is an English Victorian Era white stoneware pub match holder and striker with a white enamel or marble collar, showing vivid black lettering advertising Spaten Beer Munich London Depot 62 Rosebery Avenue W.C. This highly collectible match holder and striker is signed on the bottom: "Hunt & Frenkel 45 Blackfriar's Road London SE."
    The piece itself is round in shape and has a rough striking surface around the circumference. The matches are held in a white marble or enamel cup on which the advertising is printed in bold black lettering. There are two decals, one on each side. Each features a shovel with the initials G.S. beneath.
    This exceptional match holder/striker is a rare collectible from the Victorian Era pubs in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
