Description
Up for bid is an early Fulper Pottery stoneware liquor jug measuring 8.5" tall. These 'Fancy Liquor Jugs' were produced by Fulper from 1890 to 1910 before they began production of the art pottery that they are so well know for. This jug has hand decorated (fired on) glazed floral decorations and 24 karat gold trim and writing. On the front of the jug I can't read what the top line says but the bottom line(s) of writing says Cedar Grove, Sour Mash (whiskey). This jug, for being at least 110 years old, is in very good condition with no chips, crazing, or repairs. I would be listing this jug as excellent except for two minor hairlines, at the spout, which probably came from a previous owner forcing in the cork which has long since been lost.I try to be as honest and detailed (both written and photographic) in my description of any item(s) I list on eBay but, with that said, if you have ANY questions concerning this item(s) PLEASE ask me BEFORE the auction is closed. Also, I'm listing this item(s) with a low starting price, no reserve, and the cheapest shipping that will still insure a safe delivery. I do accept returns but there needs to be a clear and obvious difference in the item(s) you are high bidder on and the same item(s) you receive in order for me to accept a return. Buyers remorse will NOT be accepted as a reason for returning an item(s). And last, I've been selling on eBay for 15+ years, I have 100% positive feedback, and I encourage you to checkout the glowing comments from my satisfied customers. Thank you and good bidding.
