Highly Collectible and Rare - Estate Edwardian Era Antique Old Taxidermy Stag Deer Foot Match Holder Brass match striker. Writing says, "D & SSH - Found at
Bridgetown
Killed at Weir 4th Jan 1909". Below the writing is a starburst logo. Towns are in
England
. It appears to be well made and in good condition given it is over 110 years old. It stands about 6" tall x 5" wide including stand. The top brass match cup is 1 5/8" across. The handmade iron stand is a little loose and the nails holding it are rusted from age. I'm sure this could be cleaned up. Will not come with matches. The striker is worn or it may be clogged with dirt. Nice rare piece. Sold as found. I didn't touch it. Not my area of expertise.
