  • Condition: ORIGINAL SET BOX HOLDS TOGETHER WELL, BUT AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES, SOME OF THE CARDBOARD HAS BEEN TORN ALONG THE SIDE EDGES. THE INSIDE TOP OF THE BOX SHOWS SOME WATER STAINS, AS DOES THE OUTSIDE TOP FLANGE. NO MUSTY SMELL NOTED AT ALL. THE OUTSIDE TOP OF THE LID COLORWISE, IS BRIGHT. THERE ARE ALSO SOME CARDBOARD FLAWS ON THE TOP OUTSIDE, AS SEEN ON THE 'SPLIT', ABOVE THE AMERICAN FLYER NAME IN WHITE, AND ALONG THE LEFT SIDE (SEE PICS).THE ENGINE RUNS SMOOTHLY, WITH NO RUST SHOWING. THE CARS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AS WELL, SHOWING NO RUST AND NOTHING BROKEN.

    Description

    For your consideration today is a vintage American Flyer "Frontiersman" S gauge train set in the original box.
    Included is a 4-4-0 steam engine (#21088), and three coaches #'s 20,30, and #40.    The engine works well, and chuffs and smokes.    The only thing missing with this set is track.   If you need track, I have a lot of real
    nice track, straight and curved, that I can list here on eBay for you.   Just let me know.
