1837 Half Cent Hard Times Token- VG Details- Very Rare

Description

I am selling a scarce 1837 half cent hard times token. The eagle on the front is broadly outlined, with some feather detail showing and the leaves and arrows it is holding clear. Nearly all of the lettering can be read and the date is clear. The wreath still has decent detail and texture on the reverse, all of the stars show and most of the lettering is visible. The coin has been holed, and has darker pitted/corroded surfaces. Still, an interesting piece of early U.S. history to add to your collection.
